snowfall in Sonnenberg
well snow has been falling for the last couple of weeks now. we have had lots of snow and some rain thrown in. The sonnenhang & the brockenblick lifts have been open this weekend and the nordic skiing tracks have been cut.
there is more snow forecast for this week so the start of the season...
Hexenstieg
The hexenstieg is a “classic” walk in the National park Harz. The route is 96km long, starts in Osterode, finishes in Thale and passes over the Brocken (highest mountain in north Germany).
Harz Mountainbike cup
25th June 2011 is the next round of the Harz MTB cup, The Wurmberg MTB marathon held in Braunlage with race distances for all levels from beginner to expert.
Whisky Tasting
[ August 28, 2010; 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. ] The next whisky tasting evening will be held on 28th Aug 2010. A relaxed introduction to scottish whisky.
